Assmang Limited is a company incorporated in the Republic of South Africa to supply raw material to the world's steel mills and alloy plants. 

It was originally listed on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange as The Associated Manganese Mines of South Africa Limited, but changed its name to Assmang Limited on 30 May 2001. Assmang, jointly controlled by Assore Limited and Anglovaal Mining Limited, currently has three operating divisions based on its three commodities, chrome, manganese and iron ore. Although each division operates independently, together they strive to achieve optimum efficiencies.

Xertech was established in 1999. In addition to producing synthetic diamonds for sale to the tool making and construction industries, it also produces saw grit diamond manufactured to customers specification. The name Xertech is derived from the Greek word Xeros, meaning heat, which is used to melt the solvents used in the manufacture of synthetic diamond. 

Xertech is a division of Wonderstone Limited which is a wholly owned subsidiary of the ASSORE group of companies.
