KYB TEPP

KYB TEPP is dedicated to instilling confidence and preparing students for secondary education and other tertiary studies. The programme offers a unique blend of quality education, innovation, inclusivity and community engagement.

TEPP provides a comprehensive academic curriculum to educate, develop and inspire students. Focusing on academic success and personal growth, the programme equips pupils with the foundational knowledge and skills required for a successful career in the fields of engineering and education.

TEPP seeks to provide young South Africans with the essential skills, knowledge and confidence needed to excel by emphasising holistic development, leveraging technology and promoting health and wellness.

KYB GRAD

KYB GRAD ensures academic and personal success for students and graduates. The programme offers student mentoring, educational support, mediation services and health and wellness resources.

Many students lack essential psychosocial support to navigate the challenges of their university journey. KYB GRAD features widespread services that aim to provide critical funding, valuable resources and assistance tailored to each student’s needs.

KYB GRAD enables students to overcome challenging obstacles and become positive, self-empowered and accountable, allowing them to succeed academically.

KYB ALSE

KYB ALSE (Additional Learning and Support to Prospective Educators) aims to address the shortage of skilled educators in rural areas by offering bursaries to aspiring students pursuing teaching careers.

Focusing on Mathematics, Science and English, the programme aims to enhance teaching standards and address critical skill gaps within these subjects.

KYB Bursary Fund & Administration manages complex financial and procurement systems, ensuring prompt payments to the relevant institutions and students.

Organisations face the challenge of facilitating financial and procurement systems because they lack the dedicated workforce to request, evaluate and summarise the information needed for timely feedback and payment.

KYB administers these monetary investments for qualifying students on behalf of their bursar throughout their academic journey.

KYB: Technical Training

KYB TECH was created to address South Africa’s technical skill shortage and highlights The Academy’s dedication to technical and academic excellence.

Opened in 2024, KYB TECH workshops are the newest addition to the Flagship project in Potchefstroom. The project offers a dynamic blend of research-driven learning experiences with cutting-edge facilities. KYB TECH promotes innovation, critical thinking and the development of practical skills.

With room for 360 students each year, KYB TECH is a registered TVET college that provides occupational qualifications accredited by the Quality Council for Trades and Occupations (QCTO).
