Our principal investment is a 50% interest in the South African company Assmang Proprietary Limited (Assmang), which mines iron and manganese ores and produces manganese alloys. We jointly control Assmang alongside the JSE-listed African Rainbow Minerals (ARM).
Assore also operates the Dwarsrivier Chrome Mine and the Wonderstone Mine. We also provide technical input and operational support for various mining operations in the Assmang group.

Our proprietary subsidiary, Ore & Metal Company Limited, expertly markets and ships all of Assore’s products, including those produced by Assmang.
For over 80 years, Ore & Metal has also been an established supplier to steel and allied industries globally, effectively operating within these markets.
